On August 15, 2008, the first "Credibility rating of Internet address service agencies" lasting for four months officially came to an end. Eight registration service agencies including CE Dongli Technology Group Company Limited("CE Dongli") and Beijing Xinnet Cyber Information Company Limited("Xinnet") were awarded Five-star Registration Service Agency. This is the highest level of this credibility rating. Related units have obtained e-certificates with five-star mark uniformly issued by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC).

The first "Credibility rating of Internet address service agencies" was launched by initiatives of Internet address resources industry self-discipline and initiated on April 16,2008. CNNIC was invited as the supervising agency. The activity, following the principle of science, preciseness, justness and openness, has successively formulated credibility rating "Star Mark" management system of domain name service industry and internet address service agencies credibility rating criteria. It finally chose 36 "Star China Internet address service agencies" through the combined way of public questionnaire and expert evaluation, of which 8 Five-star registration service agencies, 19 Four-star and 9 Three-star. A total of 36 CN agencies of domain name address service won the "Star Mark".

CE Dongli and Xinnet receiving "Star Mark" are active exhorters and advocates of Internet address resources industry self-discipline all the time. They have won the high praises from the industry, CNNIC and other related institutions on account of their honesty, self-discipline and standard service.

This activity has got substantial support and active participation of numerous Internet address service agencies, insider experts and netizens. In order to improve the service level of the whole industry and prompt address service agencies to provide better service for Internet users, the activity will be held every six months. Dynamic adjustment of credibility star mark can encourage service agencies to improve their competitive strengths, thus forming a long-acting mechanism. Users needing to register CN domain name can choose service agencies according to the star mark, which is beneficial to enhance the service quality of whole industry and guarantee rights and interests of customers. This selection result also marks the Internet address service industry takes an important step in advocating the integrity management of service practitioners and promoting the registration service standardization of Internet address resources.
