On Aug. 12, 2009 (Beijing) - The Seminar of University Financial Laboratory Teaching held by Shihua Financial Information on August 10~12, and the representatives from 18 colleges and universities got together to explore the latest research results and teaching experience of university finance teaching and practice.

Li Xinyuan, Vice General Manager of Shihua Financial Information, introduced that Shihua Financial Information had provided financial information laboratory service for about 300 universities until now, including 11 national key economic laboratories. In addition, it had introduced overall network service mode and provided value-added services, including information analysis, research report and electronic newspaper, etc. Furthermore, it has a lot of large IDC operational centers in China Netcoms and China Telecommunications all over China, and provides personalized service for different customers with different requirements.

Sun Yongli, Director of the Financial Laboratory of the School of Industrial and Commercial Administration, Tianjin Polytechnic University shared his teaching result of financial laboratory at the meeting. He showed that since 2003 when the School of Industrial and Commercial Administration, Tianjin Polytechnic University began to cooperate with Shihua Financial Information, the simulation deal software had been introduced into professional teaching. In 2008, the university set up the simulation deal software through Shihua Financial Information, a simulation practice platform shared by the university, becoming one of important platforms to popularize the concept of investment and improve students’ comprehensive abilities. Through cooperation with Shihua Financial Information, the university had made its students do experiments within the university as if doing financial work in enterprises, welcome by many teachers and students.

Shihua Financial Information will continue to be dedicated to support the practice of university financial investment teaching and hold “national college student financial investment simulation deal competition” for the second time this year. This activity has obtained participation and support of national colleges and universities after three successful sessions. The enrolling time of the fourth session is from Sept. 1 to Oct.18, and the competition time is from Oct.19. to Nov. 29., 6 weeks altogether. It will build up a financial investment practice and exchange platform of avoiding market risk and improve the students’ practice ability and comprehensive abilities.
