The 12th China International Software Expo 2008 ("INT'L SOFT CHINA") was unveiled in Beijing Exhibition Hall on June 12. Distinguished from previous ones, with the theme of Software Assists High-tech Olympic and innovation promotes the merge of informatisation and industrialization, INT'L SOFT CHINA was committed to summarizing and showing comprehensively the glorious achievements fulfilled by China software industry, studying and discussing the integration development of software industry under new situation. Thus, it to some extent imposed higher requirements on the development of China software industry.

ChangFeng Alliance Internet Service Working Group was established on this exhibition. It's reported that this Working Group was headed by ChangFeng Alliance and promoted by Beijing CE Open Source Software Company Limited ("CE Open"), incorporating 13 IT technology and service providers, such as Tsinghua Tongfang, Red Flag Software, TongTech, and Redflag 2000, with businesses in basic software, information security, middle-ware, electronic payment, communication services and other fields, crossing multiple industries, such as communication, catering, networks, development and application of software and hardware. The 13 members of this Working Group jointly signed the Establishment Protocol of Working Group and gave brief speeches for its inauguration on the ceremony.

With the mode of co-creation and win-win as a brand new concept, the Working Group will promote the transfer of traditional IT software companies so as to give them more development opportunities and wider client sources by means of a new operation-based Internet information service mode, while decreasing thoroughly the cost and subsequent troubles from deploying these services for millions of IT Users in China. It could really optimize a service operation philosophy of User Experience Focused on the level of application, keeping users from any inconvenience caused by the difference of operation systems through support of cross-platform, provision of software service operation mode, and unification of desktop applications, and ensuring consistent user interface, operation, function for users under multiple platforms, thus giving users genuine enjoyment of the convenience and high speed from IT application services. Moreover, the development of cross-platform unified desktop application service support platform based on domestic software and hardware could more completely guarantee the information security for government users and company users.

Simply speaking, it's a service to apply various technologies of IT fields into the running and management of enterprises and into the life and work of individuals. It would be an integrated service of being more comprehensive, more actual demands oriented and more practical. In other words, it emphasizes more on individuality and practicality, tailoring to a company or an individual." Mr. Zhang Bin, General Manager of CE Open, said.

CE Open's philosophy IT Application Service Operation was proposed on consideration of the current status of poor interconnectedness, compatibility, and systematicness of single services in this industry. Compared with existing single IT services providers in China, IT Application Service Operators should not only possess high-level and overall technologies and deep operation background in this industry, but also be capable of organically integrating, rebuilding, and optimizing various applications and services. As a brand new area, IT Application Service Operation is a new challenge and opportunity arising from this new century.
